Why
Ripping beds after rotavating and thus levelling before spading or ploughing. Can also be used as stubble cultivation in combination with cover crop seeder (extension kits available). This is a multi purpose soil preparation tool. Mainly to improve permeability and field drainage. Working depth 15-25 cm.
How
Different chisel tines are available. The lower tillage spring tines are ideal for stubble cultivation, incorporating lime or manure and preparatory ploughing. The wider ‘duck foot’ tines allow stubble to be lossened and mixed with the soil quickly and is more suitable for subsequent deeper and more intensive stubble cultivation.
Non-PTO driven.
